"Trial By Magic"

Description: "While Phoebe performs jury duty in a murder case, she is hit with a premonition about the real killer, and must convince the rest of the jury that the defendant is not guilty without exposing magic. Meanwhile, Piper, Paige, and Leo try to help Phoebe find the real murderer, but they stumble upon a gang of demons involved, and they must solve the crime and keep Paige's friend out of danger, before Phoebe gets thrown off the jury."

The Charmed Ones learned an important lesson in this episode, that sometimes in order to fulfill the greater good you have to forget about keeping your secret. I was proud of Phoebe that she was so willing to give away their secret if it meant that an innocent man didn't get thrown in jail. Watching the jury members interact with each other was so funny, but that man with the cigar was getting on my last nerves. He didn't care whether or not the defendent was guilty, he just wanted to be out by lunch. If he had been reported, be could have gotten in serious trouble. I thought it was hilarious how Phoebe kept running to the bathroom to stall the verdict, and my favorite quote in this episode is when she's in the bathroom talking to Piper and Leo and the foreman knocks on the door and asks what's taking so long and Phoebe goes, "Uhh, can you get me a plunger?" Too funny! Piper was like a mad witch running or orbing all over the city to gather evidence that Stan was innocent. That is a test of a good witch when you can have next to no information about the case, and still be able to gather proof. It was so funny when her and Paige went to the club to confront Andrew Wyke and Piper's blowing up things to scare him, but he was still not budging so Piper says, "This is boring, I think I'll start with some body parts." I love how automatically Andrew reached to cover his privates. Paige has got to learn sooner or later, like each sister before her has had to learn, that sometimes you have to lie to people you love to keep your secret. Paige is still new to the craft, so she still doesn't quite understand how important it is to hold that vow of secrecy. I am glad though that she has at least someone outside the family to talk to about her other life. Glenn is a bit on the annoying side though. He didn't know any better, but why would you make a lame joke about exposing the sisters to the tabloids, regardless? The saddest part of this episode is when Paige was defending Glenn to Piper saying that he was just making a lame joke and that he didn't mean it, and Piper says, "Yeah, well maybe you would feel differently if you had lost a sister." No matter how much time passes, that will always be a sore topic when it comes to Phoebe and Piper. In the end, Stan the innocent man was found not guilty, Glenn was rescued from the rat demons, and the Charmed Ones' secret still is safe. "May the power of three set you free!" Keep reading and watching!

Peace, Love, and Charmed!
