"Magic Hour"

Description: "The sisters must find a way to break a curse which turns a man into an owl by day, and his girlfriend into a wolf by night. Meanwhile, Prue discovers a way to hold Piper and Leo's wedding without "The Powers That Be" finding out."

Weddings, or should I say "rutabegas" should be a happy occasion and most always are, but in the lives of the Halliwells it takes a lot of effort and hardly any happy feelings to get one to happen. I found it hilarious when Phoebe was so worried about the unspeakable wrath. I love Phoebe but to call Piper selfish when she herself was being selfish not wanting to get hurt because of the wedding. I can't believe the elders would go to such extreme efforts to keep Leo and Piper from getting married. As veterens of the show know, they have their reasons even though some of them might seem out there. There's a lot more to the whole mom and her whitelighter story than the show has given away yet, which is making the elders so against Piper and Leo getting married. I felt bad for Piper though, she finally gets her dream guy and engaged then can't even bask in the glory of being a bride. So it is now very obvious that there is more to Cole than just an A.D.A. Apparently, Cole was sent by the Triad to destroy the Charmed Ones. I think it is just cruel to use Phoebe as a decoy, but I guess evil is as evil does. I know the future story of Mr. Cole Turner, and I'm not going to give anything away, but he is much more than meets the eye. I found it sweet how Phoebe eventually gave her blessing to Piper and Leo, because no matter what she wants to see her sister happy. Another example of true love conquers all shows itself in Brooke and Chris. Two people who love each other so much that they are willing to live out the curse for so long is a couple who has a long future ahead of them. I found it so sweet that Brooke was willing to seal the deal with a kiss in order to save Chris' life, even though it meant she wouldn't be able to be with him. Chris and Brooke reminded me so much of the Leo and Piper relationship, and I believe that's what the producers had in mind when they wrote this episode. Good ole Grams to the rescue! It's funny how Grams seems to always have her own personal radar out for her girls at all times, because she is always at random times giving them little magical pushes whether she physically shows up in person or helps out by magically turning the pages of the "Book of Shadows." She's the one that knows the girls the best, so any advice from her is sure to be right on the nose. Phoebe sure took her advice straight to the heart, and it didn't take her much time to think about it. I was so sad to see Piper so distraught at the end of the episode when the Elders caught wind of the "rutabega" (thanks to the Triad and Cole), and orbed Leo up there. You guys are just going to have to see how this all plays out. "May the power of three set you free!" Keep reading and watching!

Peace, Love, and Charmed!
