"Look Who's Barking"

Description: "Phoebe has a premonition of a murderous banshee while adding onto the Belthazor section of the "Book of Shadows," thus causing her to think Cole is responsible. The sisters then cast a spell to track the banshee which turns Prue into a dog. But when Prue gets hit by a car, Phoebe's remorse causes the banshee to attack her and turn her into a banshee, too."

What would you do if the "Power of Three" you were so used to suddenly became the "Power of One." On top of that you still had no control over your powers? Poor Piper had no clue what she was going to do, and if it hadn't have been for Leo, Prue would have still been running around as a dog and Phoebe would forever be a banshee. As much as I hate to see Phoebe sad, I'm glad that she finally came to her senses and admitted she still had feelings for Cole. Each one of the Halliwells has had one of these moments in the past, and they go through a state of denial until they can no longer fight it. It's hard to grieve someone you love who you've lost without anything else interfering, but for a demon to specifically focus in on sadness just makes it worse. I found it quite interesting how banshees were former witches. I wonder what about witches changes that they don't die when they hear the banshees die unlike mortals who do die. Obviously it has something to do with their powers, but could that be all? Speaking of powers, Piper is still having trouble figuring out her new "gift." I'm glad that she's being careful and trying not to hurt anybody, but you can't stay cooped up in the basement or your bedroom for the rest of your life. I understood her frustration when everybody kept telling her to just relax. They might have had powers before they had to learn to control, but at least none of those powers could hurt somebody. They just don't understand fully what she's going through, which is most likely what she's the most frustrated about. I've always loved Leo's pep talks that he gives the girls, but the ones he gives Piper are the most heartfelt and touching. It was so sweet when he told her that she didn't necessarily need her sisters and that he would help her through it. Piper loves her sisters more than everything, but Leo is her greatest supporter and confidant when it comes right down to it. In the end, Prue and Phoebe were returned to their normal selves, the banshee was vanquished, and Phoebe decided to not give up on Cole quite yet. Piper is slowly starting to gain more control of her powers, and soon it won't even be a problem. "May the power of three set you free! Keep reading and watching!

Peace, Love, and Charmed!
