"Sleuthing With The Enemy"

Description: "When the sisters discover that Cole is Belthazor, Phoebe must make one of the toughest decisions of her life: either vanquish her boyfriend or keep one of the most dangerous demons known to exist, alive."

Well the time has finally come for the Charmed Ones to finally figure out who Belthazor really is. For Phoebe this was probably the most devastating thing to happen to her. She loves Cole and cannot even fathom how he could do something like that to her. This episode was the first time the sisters have come across a bounty hunter. It may be the first time but it is certainly not the last time they will see one. I thought it was funny how Leo felt torn between the two sides of sisters. He wanted to help Phoebe and make sure she was safe, but he didn't want Prue and Piper or the elders to be upset with him. In Leo's defense, he healed Cole before he realized what Cole really was. This Krell character was really annoying and a bit too anxious to collect his bounty from the source. Another thing about this bounty, how did the source find out it was Cole who killed the Triad. I'm pretty sure there was no one else there to witness it and report back to the source. Who knows, so back to Krell. To me it looked like Krell had some other reason for wanting to go after Cole so bad, like maybe he had a personal vendeta against him before the bounty even came up. So Cole finally revealed his story to all the viewers. It turns out his mother was the demon and his father was mortal. I wonder how that turned out? So that also answers the question of how Cole was able to get so close to the sisters without being vanquished. Unlike most demons, since Cole is half human he's able to understand human emotions the way other demons can't. The sisters also learned more about Belthazor himself; how his powers work and how being half demon/half human affects how his powers work. I was surprised to see that Leo wasn't in much of this episode. He must be working overtime for the powers that be! :) As much as I don't like how Cole was using Phoebe, I LOVE the Phoebe and Cole relationship. I can't explain it, but they're just so cute and real together. Although I feel this way, I was still surprised when at the end of the episode Phoebe chose to let Cole live. I thought the fear of the half demon ever coming out and the wrath of her sisters would stop her, but another example of how true love conquers all. Phoebe may think that Cole will just leave and her sisters never have to find out that she didn't vanquish him, but Cole will be back! (pause for the uproar of cheers) You won't have to wait long either! "May the power of three set you free!" Keep reading and watching!

Peace, Love, and Charmed!
