"Siren Song"

Description: "Cole and Phoebe both fall under the spell of the Siren, who lures husbands to her and entrances their wives to follow with the intent to kill, leaving Piper and Paige to figure out how to save Phoebe. Piper, upset with Leo because he doesn't understand the challenges of being pregnant, and Leo, frustrated that Piper doesn't realize the demands of being a whitelighter, have their powers switched magically by their unborn child."

Is it just me, or did you guys have a strange sense of deja vu while watching this episode? The plot line closely resembles two other episodes previously in this series, "Love Hurts" because of Piper and Leo switching powers and having to learn how to use them, and "She's a Man, Baby, A Man" because of the demon luring men to her in order to kill them. I know it's been a long time since Leo and Piper have had to deal with their powers being switched, but you would think they would have remembered at least some stuff. Granted, Piper had the advantage because she got to use some of Leo's powers last time, as opposed to Leo who the last time he had Piper's powers he was close to death and didn't get a chance to use them. It was so funny to see Leo have to deal with not only all of Piper's powers and how out of control those were to him, but he had all of her pregnancy symptoms. I cannot stop laughing at the line, "Are your boobs always this sore?" It was so funny to see how naturally Piper stepped into the role of whitelighter though, and how easily she was jet setting and even picking up on new languages. I love how she was talking with a panicked charge in French and then all of a sudden she was like, "Woah, did I just speak French?!" Too funny! I'm glad that through all this Piper and Leo got a chance to see how hard it was being each other for the day, and hopefully will appreciate what the other one does everyday. Whoever this little future Halliwell is going to turn out to be, it is one smart and powerful little baby. I love how when Piper was trying to blow up the Siren and the baby used flowers instead Piper was like, "Ohhh, bad baby!" Speaking of the Siren, I know she's pissed off about losing her man because he was married, but come on, way to hold a grudge for over a thousand years! I mean, seriously get over it already! That doesn't make it right for you to go all over and kill married men and their wives. Poor Cole is winding up getting the short end of the stick in every situation, because no matter what he does or says good Phoebe is not hearing any of it. We can tell that he is trying so hard and see the pain in his eyes when Phoebe looks at him with disgust, but you can't change Phoebe's mind when it's made up. I think poor Cole is just now starting to understand what Phoebe is going toward, and slowly making his way toward acceptance. But I'm very much liking this good fest he's on with trying anything in his power by doing good, and if that means saving more innocents than all for it Cole! "May the power of three set you free!" Keep reading and watching!

Peace, Love, and Charmed!
