"Brain Drain"

Description: "The Source sends Piper into a deep coma, where she perceives an alternate reality. Phoebe and Paige must find a way to return her to reality, and save her from giving up her powers while she is delusional."

The Source is back, and this time he's in their minds! This is a new one, since I don't believe Piper has ever been the direct victim before. Speaking of Piper, someone's maternal clock is starting to tick very loudly. I thought it was hilarious when she kept dropping hints about having kids around Leo, and he had no idea what she was talking about. It will come a time in each one of the sisters' lives when their biological clock will start to tick, I guess Piper just came first. The Source had a new unique way of trying to get the Charmed Ones' powers, by going into Piper's mind and making it look like she was making up the whole witch and power thing. He was so good at convincing and never giving up, that by the end Piper was majorly convinced and one chant away from relinquishing their powers. If Cole and Leo hadn't gotten to The Source in time, we would be looking at 4 dead Charmed Ones right now. Who else thought it was interesting to see the actors play mentally unstable people? You have to be quite a talented actor to play something so convincing, so kudos to Alyssa and Rose. My favorite quote of this episode is when Piper is in her mind with the crazy Phoebe and Paige, and she asks where the "Book of Shadows" is, and Phoebe says, "Oh, it's right over here! I hid it in case the doctors, I mean "Demons", would try to steal it." And she comes out with this handmade version of the book and hands it to Piper. Piper takes one look at it and says, "You really are crazy." Too funny! Cole is like a whole new person now, it doesn't even take any effort for him to be good no matter how much he uses his demonic powers. This time it wasn't even to save his beloved Phoebe, it was to save Piper, and he didn't even miss a beat. How sweet! I wish the producers of the show would put Cole in more episodes, and I never understood why they didn't, but oh well. I thought it was funny how at the end of the episode, both couples were getting ready to go upstairs and have sex and Paige feeling awkward says, "Ok, I'm just going to go to the store, and buy some milk or something." Gotta love Paige's sense of humor! "May the power of three set you free!" Keep reading and watching!

Peace, Love, and Charmed!
