"Sand Francisco Dreamin' "

Description: "A demon attacks the Charmed Ones with dream dust, causing their nightmares to come to life. Paige is harassed by an evil clown at a baby shower, Piper has an affair, and Phoebe is chased by a maniac with a chainsaw. The sisters must use magic to put themselves to sleep, to re-enter their nightmares, and unmask the symbolic meaning of their dreams."

The sisters have been attacked by demons plenty of times in their lives since becoming witches, but this is the first time they have encountered them in their sub-conscious. I think my favorite kind of episodes, is when the sisters reveal things about themselves that wouldn't necessarily come out during everyday demon fighting. Dreams have a way of bringing out what we desire most in our lives, and that's exactly what went on this time. As Paige and Phoebe are busy getting ready for Piper's baby shower, it reminds me that we're are getting closer and closer to meeting the new generation of Halliwell witches. One more episode guys! Speaking of the baby, I thought it was funny that both Leo and Paige were having dreams related to the baby. I am constantly feeling sorry for Paige that she was born into a situation where it wasn't the best, and it starts to reveal itself more and more as time goes on. But I think that since her birth didn't have such a great arrival, that she's going to make sure that the new baby will have the best one they can give it. Leo is going through what a lot of dad's go through when their wife is pregnant. Mothers instantly feel that attachment to their babies because they carry them around inside them for 10 months, but sometimes it takes fathers longer to grow that bond because they didn't. All Leo wanted was to get closer to the baby, and I found it funny how the producers made sure to fulfill his wish. In one pregnancy, Piper and Leo have switched the baby between their bodies twice. I can already tell that Leo and Piper are going to me amazing parents! I found Phoebe's dream a little confusing, especially for viewers who don't know the story. I'm still mulling over what her dream could really mean and this is what I've come up with. Phoebe will now and for a long time not be able to forget about Cole, and everything bad that happens to her she'll always associate it with Cole, even though he is long gone. In a sense, people could say that it could turn self-destructive because at the same time, she is blaming herself for allowing Cole to get so close to her. I thought Piper's dream was hilarious, because she has never before complained about Leo being a less than stellar lover, and now she's dreaming up fantasy guys. It's weird for someone like me who worships the ground Piper walks on to think that she would be unhappy with Leo, but in fact she wasn't, it was Leo who was her dream, fantasy guy the whole time. In the end, the tracer demon was vanquished, the sisters and Leo lived through their dreams coming to life, and Piper's baby shower went off without a hitch. The cutest scene in this episode is at the very end when Piper, Paige, and Phoebe are seen asleep on a couch at P3. "May the power of three set you free!" Keep reading and watching!

Peace, Love, and Charmed!
