"Necromancing The Stone"

Description: "When Grams comes to the manor for a Wiccan birthing ceremony for Wyatt, the sisters find out that she has brought a memory from her past, a former lover who wants to kill the Charmed Ones and bring back the love they once shared. Meanwhile, Phoebe contemplates Jason's invitation, even though it will take her away from her family, and Paige casts a truth spell to figure out if Nate can accept her being a witch."

It has been stated before that Grams had been married multiple times, but never before has her wrath about the male species been so evident. It's understandable if she's been married so many times and they have all been bad experiences, then she would have some ill feelings toward men. In a way I understand where Grams is coming from, but I think that anger should be directed toward the appropriate men, and leave her beautiful new great-grandson out of it. I find it quite humorous that Grams had no idea that Wyatt was a little boy. Do the dead not get the memos up there? It was interesting that Grams brought up the fact that there had never before been any male witches in the family, because throughout my time watching Charmed, I've realized that there aren't many male witches anywhere. I don't know why it is more common to see female witches, but that is just the way the writers and the producers wanted it I guess. It was amusing to see Piper stand up to Grams the way she did, because she's always been sort of submissive around her Grams. Piper has a very strong personality, but there was always something about Grams that made her slightly insecure about her own abilities. I guess that just goes to show how much Piper is growing as an individual, and it all started once Prue died oddly. I believe that having to step up as the head witch made her personality and demeanor change in some ways. This episode seemed to just be filled with men issues, since Paige, Grams, and Phoebe had their share of them. I was disappointed about how Paige and Nate's relationship turned out, because I was just starting to think that they would make it. This is the second time in the course of the show that the truth spell has had a negative effect on a sister's love life, so there's no wonder that they never use the spell again after this episode. I'm proud of how Paige handled it so maturely, but I don't think Daryl was too fond of her methods. It was surprising to find out that Grams had once been in love with a demon. It must run in the family, because this is turning into an ever-reaccuring storyline. It sounds like the necromancer really broke Grams' heart, but I think her wanting to banish him in time for Wyatt's wiccaning was more personal than necessary. I was a little surprised that Phoebe didn't end up going to Hong Kong with Jason, because there for a minute it looked like she was going to do it. You can see a lot of chemistry between them and I truly believe that Jason is a great guy and that he really cares for Phoebe. She might have said no now, but you guys are just going to have to stay tuned and see how this story plays out. In the end, the necromancer was vanquished, Nate got the punishment he deserved, and Wyatt's wiccaning went off without incident. "May the power of three set you free!" Keep reading and watching!

Peace, Love, and Charmed!
