"Witchstock"

Description:  "Paige finds herself transported back in time to an era of free love and free magic, where she discovers Grams a peace-loving hippie, who is on a crusade to rid the world of evil through the magical power of love."

The Charmed Ones get transported back to the "hippy-dippy" days as Grams likes to say, to learn once again that everything really does happen for a reason.  Although the sisters would have loved to get the chance to know their grandfather, the death of Alan is what made Penny Halliwell into the kick-butt grandmother of the Charmed Ones we have come to know and love.  If it wasn't for the death of the man she loved, she would have continued being the passive and free-loving hippie who because of it wouldn't be able and willing to protect the girls when they were younger from all the different demons that came after them constantly.  It was sad to also find out that the death of her first husband Alan is what caused Penny to have issues getting with men for the rest of her life, because I guess none of the other ones could amount to the man her first love was.  It was very interesting to see what Leo and Penny were like back in the 1960's and how much thirty plus years can really change somebody.  I don't know what had gotten into Leo back then, but it's a good thing he stopped hitting on every girl he came across or him and Piper would never have gotten the chance to be together.  Seeing Leo hit on Paige and finding out that him and Grams had been intimate in the past was a little disturbing at the same time very comical.  Knowing that Grams' best friend Robin was the one who betrayed them and killed Alan also showed the sisters once again that you really can't let your guard down with anybody.  So this was the first time the sisters have lived apart from each other for any length of time, and even though they're still in the adjustment period they are getting along quite nicely so far.  It was cool to see what Piper had turned Phoebe and Paige's rooms into, and she definitely didn't waste anytime in stretching out in the house.  I found it funny that Paige and Phoebe actually expected her to keep their bedrooms the same, I mean you did move out remember?  The producers didn't go too much into how Phoebe and Paige are adjusting to living outside the manor, but for the most part they seem happy and are getting well adjusted.  The sisters just need to get better at coming together, whether it be from San Francisco or Hong Kong, and regrouping to fight demons together, because after all they still have their destinies has the Charmed Ones to fulfill and that's not going to change anytime soon.  I like this new partnership almost friendlike attitude that Chris and Leo have adopted toward each other, and I hope it continues because it definitely is a nice change from the normal fighting and arguing.  I think Leo finally has believe in what Chris is here to do and trust his decisions and capabilities, and dare I say almost like him though Leo will never admit it.  Seeing Chris and Leo work together to stop the slime while the sisters were stuck in the 1960's was cute, and at one point they were telling the other to save themselves in order to protect each other.  One thing that hippy-Grams and I would have to agree on is that love is so much better than fighting. <3 and="and" ay="ay" butt="butt" doesn="doesn" even="even" free="free" hours="hours" keep="keep" kicking="kicking" like="like" nbsp="nbsp" of="of" off="off" on="on" p="p" power="power" reading="reading" set="set" some="some" t="t" the="the" though="though" three="three" watching="watching" who="who" you="you">
