Description: "After Piper vanquishes a demon from Wyatt's room, she has an epiphany about the rest of her life concerning Wyatt. Unable to handle Piper's revelation, Paige and Phoebe decide to remind Piper about the importance of love by conjuring up a "Mr. Right" as Piper's birthday present. Meanwhile, Chris uses Mr. Right to try and convince the sisters to bind Wyatt's powers, but demonic cult members kidnap him before they have the chance."
Happy Birthday to Piper and what an interesting one it was at that! I felt sorry for Piper in the beginning of the episode when she felt like giving up on love and just devoting the rest of her time to Wyatt. Being devoted to your son is one thing, but doing it at the expense of the rest of your life is another. Ever since Piper lost Leo to the elders she hasn't been the same, and in this episode we're definitely starting to see that. It was sweet of Phoebe and Paige to want to go out of their way to make this birthday special for Piper, even more now that they have both moved out and been living on their own, because at the end of the day the relationships they have with their sisters is what matters the most to the Charmed Ones. The dinner would have been more that enough of a present in Piper's eyes, but leave it to Paige to want to bring something as small as the ramblings of Piper to the extreme and conjure up a "jiggalo" as Piper called it. This isn't the first time the sisters have used their magical touch to bring men into their lives, but considering what happened last time (Season 1, Dream Sorcerer) this time turned out a lot better for all parties involved. Even though Mr. Right wasn't used by Piper for what Phoebe and Paige originally had in mind, Piper still seemed to have a lot of fun with him and Wyatt and still enjoyed herself. Poor Leo though, I don't know how much he was really enjoying seeing Piper out with another man. I also thought it was downright adorable that the first word Wyatt said was "Mama" and it was when he was getting attacked by a demon and needing her help. So sweet! Speaking of Wyatt, yet another demonic entity trying to either capture him or turn him evil. Not even a year old and Wyatt is already the most coveted being in the supernatural world. That's a lot of stress to put on such a small child, let alone its parents and other people who love him. I wonder how long the demonic cult was watching the family if they knew to impersonate Darryl in order to get close to Wyatt? Whatever it took to pull off the plan it worked, because this demonic cult has gotten closer to capturing Wyatt than any other evil being in the past. I got a little worried there when Wyatt turned against his own family and allowed the force field to envelop and protect the evil demons. I thought it was hilarious when Phoebe and Paige got a little too close to Mr. Latin Hottie and were all over him like butter on toast. The whole thing was extremely awkward for Darryl and Sheila, and the whole dinner party was going up in chaos. I'm really not sure how Chris ended up getting blamed for Wyatt being kidnapped, maybe I missed it, but it was surprising that in the end it was Wyatt who actually started trusting Chris before the sisters. Interesting twist but that's just what seems to happen sometimes! "May the power of three set you free!" Keep reading and watching!
Peace, Love, and Charmed!
