"The Wendigo"

Description: "When Piper is attacked by a vicious beast, Andy goes on a stakeout with an FBI agent who is hunting the creature. Meanwhile, Prue hires Phoebe to work at the auction house, but Phoebe's vision of a terrible car crash immediately sends her off on a mission to find a long-lost child."
A monstrous creature with yellow eyes and talons for claws, what would your reaction be if you were in the dark park at night and this animal attacked you? Fortunately, none of you have ever had to encounter one of these beasts before, but Piper wasn't so lucky. I almost puked when Piper showed her arm for the first time and it was all green and hairy. It was so disgusting! I'm glad that Andy has finally come around to his senses and is being more helpful to the Halliwells instead of detrimental. I thought it was sweet of Andy to say that Piper was like his sister too, and that he was so willing to give blood on her behalf and promised to catch the monster no matter what. I can't believe he went out of his way to call Piper the day after the attack and make sure she was doing alright and resting. Now I can see why Andy and Prue got along so well when they dated, because they both are overprotective and like to take the lead and be in charge. Speaking of the relationship between Prue and Andy, I found it funny when she showed some jealousy that Ashley and Andy looked like they got along so well together. This is the first time since they've broken up that Prue has showed any jealousy toward Andy, and it probably won't be the last time. I always knew there was something weird and not right about that Fallon investigator, but I had no idea that she was actually the one turning into the Wendigo and killing these people. What kind of person could do something that horrific to innocent people? Some people have compared the Wendigo to a Werewolf and suggested that the transformation happened against their will and had no way of controlling it, but the way Ashley Fallon was acting I have a feeling she knew good and well what she was doing. Eww, and making your diet fully consist of human hearts is just gross! I felt bad for Billy Waters, but thought it was commendable that he devoted his whole life to hunting the same beast that killed his fiancee, in the hopes that the same fate wouldn't befall anybody else. It's sad that he was killed by Fallon in the end, but he died a true hero. Speaking of victims of the Wendigo, I'm glad that Prue and Phoebe made it to the park in time to keep Fallon from killing Andy. If they had been delayed just a couple more seconds, Andy wouldn't be able to live to see another day. I thought it was lucky that Piper was able to use her powers in the end to keep Phoebe from shooting and killing the wrong Wendigo. Piper is the first one out of the sisters to turn into a magical creature, but she will certainly not be the last. The whole side story with Phoebe finding the missing girl was very touching, but I don't know how it tied in with the main story. It was kind of one of those things that if the writers had left out completely it wouldn't have made any difference and the episode would have still been great. I'm still not sure why Phoebe felt like she should quit her job at Bucklands though. She said it was because every time she touched something she ran the risk of having a vision, but the same could be said for every job she'll have in the future. I thought it was hilarious at the end of the episode when the sisters are sitting in Quake and Piper makes Phoebe and Prue think she still has the mentality of a Wendigo. Then when Piper says, "It's a joke, lighten up!" I thought the finger thing that Prue and Phoebe do is a little bit strange. It must be an inside joke between the sisters, because they use it again off and on throughout the rest of the series. I also thought it was hilarious when Phoebe and Prue had to find something to chain up Piper with so she wouldn't be able to escape when she turned into a Wendigo, and Phoebe leaves the room and comes back with handcuffs. Then Prue says, "Where did you get.....? Never mind!" Too funny! "May the power of three set you free!" Keep reading and watching!
Peace, Love, and Charmed!
