"From Fear To Eternity"

Description: "The Demon of Fear emerges every 1300 years and sets off to kill 13 unmarried witches by midnight, including the Charmed Ones. The sisters must learn to conquer their fears in order to defeat him. Meanwhile, Phoebe has misgivings about her expected duties at a new job, and Piper is frustrated by her superstition about relationships started on Friday the 13th."
"You are frozen! In fear!!!" What an extremely creepy thing to say, and this has got to be the ugliest demon we have seen on this show so far. The Halliwells might have thought they got rid of Barbas for good in this episode, but this isn't the last time they're going to see him, and Barbas will soon become their most recurring demon. I thought it was really sweet that Phoebe's greatest fear above all else was losing one of her sisters. What's ironic though is that last year when she was living in New York and didn't particularly like her sisters that much, it probably wouldn't have been her greatest fear. I found it really sad that ever since her mom died, Prue has been afraid of drowning and saying 'I love you'. The drowning part is understandable since the girls' mother died in the water, and the fear of saying she loves anyone because the last person she said it too she lost, is just heartbreaking. The bond between mother and daughter is very close and the Halliwell sisters had to learn the hard way that you have to cherish every moment you have together, because it can be quickly taken from you in a heart beat. I thought it was hilarious how superstitious Piper was, but with all the demons they encounter on a daily basis they can never be too careful. Every person has varying degrees of superstitiousness, but I have never seen someone who followed the precautions for all of them like Piper was. I understand Piper's wariness about relationships beginning on Friday the 13th, especially since she revealed that she met Jeremy on Friday the 13th and he ended up being an evil warlock. But some of the other superstitions, such as throwing the salt over the shoulder or covering your mouth when you yawn so as not to let in the evil spirits, were going a little bit overboard. I'm surprised that Phoebe has taken the initiative and has been going out trying to find a job. Phoebe has never struck me as the working type or even one who can hold down a job for a period of time. If I had to guess where her first choice of employment would be though, a real estate agency wouldn't even make the top twenty. But sure enough there she was in an interview, where I don't think the employer was so much interested in how good of a job Phoebe could do, but if Phoebe was willing to keep her secret. In the end, Prue conquered her fear of drowning (with the help of her mother) and defeated Barbas. With the help of her sisters, Prue was also able to finally open up and say 'I love you' to them. "May the power of three set you free!" Keep reading and watching!
Peace, Love, and Charmed!
